Zlatan Ibrahimovic ends at 30 goals in the league

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a goal in the last game in this season of the French League. That means that Zlatan now is on 30 goals for this season which is the same amount of goals that Jean-Pierre Papin score in the 1989/1990 season. PSG defeated Lorient 3-1.

Zlatan has had a fantastic debut season in Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain. In the season finale he crowned it with reaching Jean-Pierre Papins goal record of 1989/1990. Six minutes into the second half Kevin Gameiro sent in a cross from the right. Zlatan Ibrahimovic ran towards the goal and chested in 1-0 to Paris Saint-Germain. It was Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s 30th goal in Ligue 1. Ten minutes later Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave back for the goal when he passed Kevin Gameiro who could socre 2-0. Gameiro then also scored 3-0 to Paris Saint-Germain.

With ten minutes left of the game it got a little messy in Paris Saint-Germain as when the goalkeeper Ronan Le Crom, who had jumped into the second half, was sent off when he caused a penalty. Ronan Le Crom became teary-eyed by the red card. The defender Mamadou Sakho had to jump in as goalkeeper at the penalty, but had no chance against Arnaud Le Lan, who shot the final score 3-1.

After the game got Zlatan Ibrahimovic received the award as the top scorer in Ligue 1. With Zlatan’s 30 goals there was no real competition on who should win the award. This was Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s best season in terms of the number of league goals, he has never scored more goals in a club in professional life. PSG won the league on 83 points, twelve more than second placed Marseille.
