Manchester City is planning to strengthen their offense in the summer transfer window. The number one pick on the club’s wish list is Edison Cavani who currently is playing in Napoli. But according to Goal.com the number two on Manchester City’s wishlist is Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Goal.com writes that Manchester City has initiated talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola, who said that his mentee can leave PSG this summer. City’s sporting director Txiki Begiristain, who signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona in 2009, is a big fan of the long PSG striker and also has a good relationship with Raiola.
Edinson Cavani, who is valued at around 50 million Euro, however, stands on top of Manchester City’s wish list. If Cavani is not avaliable it might become Manchester City for Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer.
The rumors about Zlatan Ibrahimovic intensifies day by day. There have been a lot of different clubs that have been mentioned as potential clubs for Zlatan during the summer transfer window. The most mentioned rumor is the possible move back to Juventus for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Today one of the worlds best defenders, Thiago Silva goes out with comments about the latest transfer rumors around Zlatan. Thiago Silva hopes that these rumors are not true and that Zlatan Ibrahimovic plans to stay in Paris Saint Germain. Thiago Silva also mentions that he considers Zlatan to be one of his best friends in PSG. – He is a positive person who gives strength to the team. I hope Zlatan stays. Here in Paris, he can build this team and get the club to grow. I really hope he stays, says Silva to Le 10 Sport.
Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are teammates since their time in Milan and they also joined PSG at the same time. Even though they are good friends Silva claims he does not know for sure if it will be Juventus for Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer or if Zlatan will stay in PSG. – I have not had the opportunity to discuss with him whether he made the decision to stay or leave, says Silva.
Helena Seger with her son
Zlatan Ibrahimovic currently has a contract with PSG until 2015 and is enjoying Paris together with his girlfriend Helena Seger.
A story from Swedish Radio today reports that the move of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Helena Seger to Paris has now increased the amount of students in Sweden who want to study the French language. This information is today reported in Sveriges Radio.
It is the principal of the school “Sunnadals”, Fredrik Jarny, who discovered the link between football success and the choice of language in the sixth class.
– Spanish have been popular for several years here at Sunnadals school and I think that has to do with that Spanish football has been good the last few years, both at club level but also at national level.
Zlatan helps promote French in Swedish schools?
When Zlatan Ibrahimovic changed country from Italy to France, it seems to be reflected in the students’ language selections. When Zlatan Ibrahimovic started playing in PSG Fredrik Jarny saw an increased interest in the French language.
– This is the first time in several years that the French language get a boost, so I think it has a connection, he says.
Rumors have started to appear that Cristiano Ronaldo might be a possible signing for Paris Saint-Germain in this summers transfer windows. If the rumors of a signing of Cristiano Ronaldo to PSG would be true, then it might mean that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is on his way to leave the club.
New information from Eurosport and sports agency L’Equipe claims that Paris Saint Germain most likely will loose coach Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid. The Italian reportedly no longer believe he can lead PSG to success and will instead have turned his eyes towards Real Madrid where he hopes to take over from Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho on the other hand is still very high up in the French league leaders PSG list of potential managers if Ancelotti disappears. The same is true for the superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as PSG hopes he will accompany the manager to the club. There are rumors that puts Ronaldo in the French club which then would lead to Zlatan Ibrahimovic to move away, reports Eurosport.
The Swedish attacking star is worried that Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival would steal too much of the spotlight in the club. This leads to that the rumors about Zlatan Ibrahimovic to leave in the summer seem more and more valid. However the possibility that PSG is building a super team for the next season might also be something that might make Zlatan Ibrahimovic want to stay in the club. Zlatan has always said he wants to win the Champions League and a team with both Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic would definitely be a team that could win Champions League.
We just have to wait and see if it is true with a move for Cristiano Ronaldo to PSG in this summers transfer window.
The last week we have seen daily news about a potential transfer of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Juventus. Yesterday La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that the Turin club have offered a four-year contract to Zlatan – who is reported to be set to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
But PSG’s sporting director Leonardo has now denied this rumor. He believes that both Zlatan and attack fellow Ezequiel Lavezzi will remain in Paris. – Both Zlatan and Lavezzi will stay here, says Leonardo according to Sky Italia.
Leonardo also denied French RMC’s data from yesterday, declaring that PSG were in agreement with Napoli’s star striker Edinson Cavani on a four-year contract.
– He is not one of our goals, says Leonardo.
And last out in Leonardo’s trinity of denials was about himself.
– I intend to stay in Paris. I have no plans to return to Italy. Massimo Moratti is a good friend, but I have a long term contract with PSG and intend to stay, he says.
This will probably not stop all the rumors but atleast it hints that there is a big chance for Zlatan to stay in PSG .
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s luxury villa in Malmö is currently up for sale. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Helena Seger no longer has any time to stay in the house and wants to sell. The luxury villa was bought in 2007 for 30 million swedish crowns (roughly 3 million Euro), ten million more than the previous record for private villas in the city of Malmö. The previous owner bought the house in 2003 for eight million. He did not have a particularly long period of consideration when Zlatan and Helena knocked on the door and offered almost four times the price.

Zlatan and Helena Seger then did an extensive renovation with the excavation of a lower floor, new garage, swimming pool and a complete upgrade of the home’s interior, said to have cost as much as the villa itself did.

The house is 836 square meters, has three large lounges, private TV room, five bedrooms, Italian kitchen and a SPA. The garage has space for four cars. It would be hard for Zlatan and Helena to get back the money they spent at a potential sale. – Though it’s my belief it will be sold for more than he bought it for, says realtor Jan Lundqvist who is entrusted to sell the super villa.
The broker has personally met Zlatan before the sale and have clear rules of conduct at work. So for example, he is not allowed to show interior photos of the house out of respect for both current and future owners. The speculators who express a serious interest in the property will also have their finances audited by the broker.
The broker has through his contacts in both France and Italy put out hooks in many places. Realtor Jan Lundqvist can not say today when a possible deal can be concluded. – These kinds of objects are living their own lives. Sellers can afford to wait for the right buyer, and therefore it is impossible to say how long a sale will take.
There is new information every day about which club Zlatan Ibrahimovic will go to in the next transfer window. Yesterday Sky Italia reported that Zlatan has decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, and that Juventus are his first choice when it comes to the next club destination.
But the TV station also claimed that Zlatan and agent Mino Raiolas high wage demands had Juvenetus to skip the chance to hire Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Today the Juventus rumors took another turn and now it seems that the club from Turin to open the doors for a comeback – if Zlatan would consider a pay cut. And it is not a small pay cut. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are prepared to offer Zlatan a four year contract with an annual salary of approximately 6 million Euro. That compares with Zlatans’s current salary in PSG, which according to Gazzette is just over 10 million Euro.
There would however in the contract be certain bonuses during the first two seasons of the contract, which would mean that Zlatan earns a total of 20 million Euro over two years. However in the following two seasons he would only earn 4 million Euro. Previously Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta claims that a transfer would only be possible if Zlatan was willing to lower his salary.
Rumors claims that the 31-year-old is willing to make financial sacrifices because he lacks Serie A and want to return. Another factor might be that Helena Seger prefers Italy and Milano over Paris. At the same time French RMC came out with a report yesterday stating that PSG may have started looking for Zlatan replacement. PSG are rumored to want to sign Napoli’s Edinson Cavani for a four-year contract.
Edinson Cavani has signed for PSG, according to the French radio station RMC Sports. Cavani has previously been rumored to be heading to both Juventus, Manchester City and Manchester United. It is now said thus be ready for Paris SG.
The usually trustworthy sports journalist Jonathan Johnson, who among other things writes for Sky Sports, ESPN and the French Football, confirms – he says that there is an agreement between the sporting director Leonardo and Cavani himself. The only thing that remains is for Paris Saint Germain and Napoli to agree on a transfer fee.
How this affects Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s place in the team is unclear. Rumors have been flourishing for a long time about whether the Swede will stay at the club or not. It has also been said that Wayne Rooney is on his way to France.
The contract with Edison Cavani is reported to be a salary of around 7 million Euro a year and that the contract extends over four years.
Below is a short video showing the highlights from Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s latest match against Nice. Zlatan scored one goal in this match and assisted to another goal making him one of the best players of the match. This was a big comeback for Zlatan compared to the reviews he got from the cup game where PSG was eliminated.
In the game Zlatan was also warned after receiving a kiss from Civelli. Zlatan has also this season now reached 27 goals in the league and is getting close to his record of scoring 28 goals in one season which he did when he played for Milan. Might we see another goal or two in the comming matches to give a new record for Zlatan Ibrahimovic in amounts of goals scored in one season?
You can see clearly how Civelli comes close to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and puts his mouth against him. When Zlatan gets tired from it he simply pushes Civelli away. For some reason the referee then decided to give Zlatan Ibrahimovic a yellow card.
