There is new information every day about which club Zlatan Ibrahimovic will go to in the next transfer window. Yesterday Sky Italia reported that Zlatan has decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, and that Juventus are his first choice when it comes to the next club destination.
But the TV station also claimed that Zlatan and agent Mino Raiolas high wage demands had Juvenetus to skip the chance to hire Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Today the Juventus rumors took another turn and now it seems that the club from Turin to open the doors for a comeback – if Zlatan would consider a pay cut. And it is not a small pay cut. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are prepared to offer Zlatan a four year contract with an annual salary of approximately 6 million Euro. That compares with Zlatans’s current salary in PSG, which according to Gazzette is just over 10 million Euro.
There would however in the contract be certain bonuses during the first two seasons of the contract, which would mean that Zlatan earns a total of 20 million Euro over two years. However in the following two seasons he would only earn 4 million Euro. Previously Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta claims that a transfer would only be possible if Zlatan was willing to lower his salary.
Rumors claims that the 31-year-old is willing to make financial sacrifices because he lacks Serie A and want to return. Another factor might be that Helena Seger prefers Italy and Milano over Paris. At the same time French RMC came out with a report yesterday stating that PSG may have started looking for Zlatan replacement. PSG are rumored to want to sign Napoli’s Edinson Cavani for a four-year contract.
