Suarez and Zlatan in Juventus rumors

Antonio Conte requires a commitment from Juventus if Juventus wants Conte to stay and extend his contract. The plan includes recruiting Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. But it is not enough. The club wants another big name to sign.

Antonio Conte wants to sign Luis Suárez. But Luis Suárez does not seem to want to come to Juventus. However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is want to go to Juventus and has praised Juventues lately in the media. If Juventus cuts down on their current squad they could make it possible, writes Gazzetta dello Sport.

The magazine has several weeks written that Zlatan wants to Juventus and the club is considering enlisting Zlatan Ibrahimovic. While reputable Sky Italia reports that Mino Raiola has received a no when he tried to sell Zlatan. In today’s paper they present evidence that coach Antonio Conte requires to extend his contract but then also wants higher pay for itself. Conte is requesting around five million euros, but also a stronger squad to win the Champions League.

Contes methods are very demanding, and he believes that many players will not cope to give as much mentally and physically next season. Juventus need new blood, and seven, eight players may be sold, according to the newspaper.

According to the newspaper would Suárez be perfect for Conte, but the scandalous Liverpool player has not sent any signals that he wants to go to Juventus. Zlatan Ibrahimovic however has expressed such interest. The club also wants to recruit other players, preferably Stevan Jovetic or Alexis Sánchez. Next on the list are, Gonzalo Higuain, Karim Benzema and Arjen Robben.

In order to acquire a top player at the club wants to keep Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s wages as low as possible. Juventus should be prepared to offer 7.5 million Euro. The price for PSG should not be over 8 to 10 million Euro.

Cannavaro on Juventus and Napoli rumors

As we reported earlier this week Juventus has shown a big interested in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and it also seems like they want him fast. Now also Fabio Cannavaro, who was a former teammate with Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Juventus says he believes that Zlatan would get a nice comeback if he returns to Juve. This was said earlier today on an interview in “Undici” tonight, in Italia2.
– Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a great player. He has developed and is now one of the very best. Zlatan is a player that is always better to have as a teammate than opponent, says Cannavaro in the interview.

The former defender continues to praise the Zlatan Ibrahimovic:
– He makes both goals and assists, and therefore he is a player who single-handedly make a difference.
– If Ibra would return to Juve? I did, after all, in 2009, and I was well treated, says Cannavaro.

Fabio Cannavaro

Fabio Cannavaro

Fabio Cannavaro was born in Naples and began his career in Napoli and loves his home town and former club. And Fabio Cannavaro thinks Zlatan Ibrahimovic would fit nicely there too.
– I see him as just right also in Naples. When we played there, he was very taken by the atmosphere at the San Paolo.

Cannavaro also reveals that he gave Zlatan chance to experience Naples at close range – in a different way.
– When we were there with Juve on away game I took him on a tour around in all lanes and Zlatan loved it!

So both Juventus and Napoli are still possible clubs for Zlatan Ibrahimovic if he would decide to leave PSG in this summers transfer window. According to the interview with Cannavaro it does not seem like there is anything new in the recent rumors and we just have to continue to wait for more information. Circus Zlatan continues yet another day.

Arsene Wenger to PSG – rumors

Arsene Wenger’s has spent a total of 17 years in the English Premier League club Arsenal. It now however seems like his time in Arsenal might come to an end. Paris Saint-Germain are looking for a replacement for current coach Carlo Ancelotti if he would leave this summer and Arsene Wenger is the top candidate for the job.
– The club’s (PSG) proprietors, who have spent heavily on the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Javier Pastore and Ezequiel Lavezzi, and who signed David Beckham on a six-month deal in January, have told friends that Wenger is on his way to Paris,” the report in the English newspaper The Telegraph said.

Arsene Wenger

According to the rumors we have received it also seems that the current PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti has notified PSG management that he does not plan to stay in the Paris club. This has caused that PSG president Al-Khelaifi has started to look at Arsene Wenger as the possible replacement for Ancelotti. This change will most likely come in the summer transfer window.

Also reported in the French daily Le Parisien is that a meeting between PSG and Arsene Wenger could take place already next week. The newspaper also states that Carlo Ancelotti is going to replace Jose Mourinho as Real Madrid coach.

– Friction between Ancelotti and PSG sporting director Leonardo is believed to have encouraged the former Chelsea manager to seize his opportunity in Madrid, the report said.

If Zlatan Ibrahimovic would stay in PSG this could mean that Zlatan would have Arsene Wenger as his coach in the next season.

Details on possible Juventus contract

The possible transfer to Juventus for Zlatan Ibrahimovic seems to get closer and closer. Already around two months ago the rumors about the possible transfer started to surface and they are now getting more and more. According to information from Italy today there could be a very quick deal if everything goes without any problems.
– Next season Juventus is aiming for Europe, Conte is only thinking about the Champions League. He wants Ibrahimovic and he wants him quickly, said a contact in Turin.

Juventus coach reportedly has talked to Pavel Nedved who currently is in the Juventus board and also very close to Mino Raiola.
– They emphasize the importance of things become clear soon, they do not want a summer of rumors.

Antonio Conte wants to know how the team looks in good time and work in peace and a long pre-season with a complete and finished squad says a Juventus source.

According to the latest rumors Zlatan is said to be willing to go down in salary and CEO Beppe Marotta is about to soften.
– Raiola is a clever bastard. He has got Zlatan Ibrahimovic to understand that he needs to lose pay and he starts getting Marotta to relent, said a source in Turin.

The latest rumors from Italy also mentioned that sporting director Leonardo might be moving away from PSG, in addition to coach Ancelotti, and it talks all about a feared “falling”, as soon as the season is over.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport Juventus will have more money than expected to use the coming season.
– Juventus will be able to complete this. They have close contact with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mino Raiola. Both parties want this. Now it hangs on to PSG release him. There is still a lot to complete, but the deal seems increasingly realistic and it can go fast, that’s what everyone involved wants, said a source Juve in Turin last night.

Juventus possible solution to get Zlatan Ibrahimovic to sign a contract with them is a solution that involves that Zlatan Ibrahimovic must lower his wages considerably with a salary at around € 5.5 million net year. This way Juventus gets around the salary cap they set up to keep the economy healthy. But a possible contract to Zlatan Ibrahimovic would also guarantee a series of bonuses based on achievement: goals, assists, set penalties and the like. That way he could reach a salary of around eight million euros net per year and it is said to be a number that Zlatan Ibrahimovic can accept.

Nedved stated in his talks with Raiola press that “passion is more important than money” and that Juventus also wants to offer Zlatan a future leadership role within Juventus.

Replacements if Zlatan Ibrahimovic leave

There are quite many possible replacements for Zlatan Ibrahimovic if he would leave PSG this summer. Here we will list some of the most likely candidates that might be in for a move to PSG in case Zlatan Ibrahimovic leave PSG. Ezequiel Lavezzi will most likely stay in the club and he is almost given a permanent spot on the top of the PSG squad. So the potential newcomer to PSG needs to be able to play with Lavezzi and also fit well into a club that is aiming to be the best in the world.

Wayne Rooney

The Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney has the last two years been surrounded with rumors about how he has been having problems with <headcoach>. This summer it seems very likely that Wayne Rooney would leave Manchester United and try his luck at other places. Competition for the signature of Wayne Rooney would most likely by Real Madrid which have been having an eye on him for a while. If PSG would be able to bring Wayne Rooney over to Paris and get his signature he would be a boost to the team.

Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney

In the last month there have been rumors stating that Wayne Rooney is already basically done for PSG and that there should be an agreement between between the two. One thing that speaks against this however is that Ancelotti has publicaly denied that Wayne Rooney is going to come to Paris.

Edinson Cavani

As we here at ZlatanIbrahimovic.net have reported several times Edinson Cavani is one of the main targets for PSG this summer. The Uruguayan has been rumored that PSG has already started discussions about a contract and that they have already reached a provisional agreement. PSG has not denied this rumor and did not also want to confirm it but given that it comes from a reliable source who also claimed a deal between PSG and Lavezzi ahead of time it seems like a reliable rumor.

Edinson Cavani

Edinson Cavani

Cavani would be a very good signing for PSG considering that Cavani is scoring as many goals as Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Also if Zlatan Ibrahimovic would stay at PSG they would most likely make a good pair together and score many goals for PSG the comming season.

Radamel Falcao

The Atletico Madrid owned Radamel Falcao has also recently been linked with rumors of a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. Falcao is from Colombia and has recently in January stated in media that he would be interested in a move to PSG. However, there are other clubs interested in signing Falcao, among them we see Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea. If Falcao would sign for PSG it would most likely be a very expensive transfer considering the competition for his signatute. But then again, PSG probably can afford it.

Radamel Falcao

Radamel Falcao

Gonzalo Higuain

The Real Madrid attacker has recently gone out stating that his future in the club is unclear if looking beyond this summer. Gonzalo Higuain will most likely move to some club this year and considering that he has a French passport he would be considered a domestic talent if signed by PSG. The Argentine Gonzalo Higuain is a very good striker and would be a good replacement if Zlatan Ibrahimovic leave PSG.

Gonzalo Higuain

Gonzalo Higuain

For Gonzalo Higuain a lot depends on if Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo would leave Real Madrid. If they leave most likely Real Madrid can not let Gonzalo Higuain go.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

A wild-card among the other names is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The only reason Aubameyang is included is that Leonardo has claimed that he is looking for more local talents instead of already high profile names. Since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is already playing in Saint-Etienne it would be easy to bring him over to PSG. There have also been many rumors about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang lately about a possible transfer but no confirmed clubs.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has done a really good season this year with a total of 19 league goals and PSG are probably looking at him as a potential signing. Most likely though it would not be as a replacement if Zlatan Ibrahimovic leave. Since PSG is aiming to be one of the best clubs in the world they need to look for more high profile names if they are going to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic leave or not?

In the end it all comes down to which players actually leave PSG this summer. If both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ezequiel Lavezzi stay put in the club there is no real reason for PSG to look elsewhere. There is however a chance that the can still sign high profile names like Wayne Rooney, mainly due to not beeing a good player but also to boost soccer jersey sales.

This is the second part of rumors related to players already in PSG. First read part 1 to see the other player rumors also.

Lucas
Lucas came to Paris from Brazil last winter for a huge transfer fee and has quickly become one of the team’s most important offensive players. PSG has no plans to get rid of him after just six months.

Javier Pastore
After a disastrous autumn it looked like Pastore would leave PSG. It is also rumored that both Milan and Juventus are keeping a close eye on the Argentine. But after playing up in the spring, especially in the Champions League, PSG probably do not want to sell this summer. Pastore says he no longer thinks of moving and the mood in Paris is getting better all the time.

Ezequiel Lavezzi
The rumors of a return to Serie A picked up again when the Gazzetta dello Sport published photos on Lavezzi in a restaurant in Milan this weekend. From Italian places it is said that the article was a put-up job from the restaurant owner, but that does not stop Lavezzi is a renowned agreed in Italy and himself has said that he would think twice about Milan got in touch. PSG will probably first secure a replacement before it releases the Argentine, who is also drawn with a salary so high that Italian clubs get very hard to match.

Salvatore Sirigu
The team’s goalkeeper has no plans to leave the club this summer. The Italian Sirigu has settled down well in his new homeland, already speaks the language fluently, has a French girlfriend and often repeat how good he thrives in Paris.

Blaise Matuidi

The French national’s progress this season has attracted the interest of teams like Inter, but Matuidi do not want to leave the project as he seen emerge in recent seasons yet. However PSG probably need to improve Blaise Matuidi’s contract to avoid other foreign big clubs to start to get in touch with Matuidi

Maxwell

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s teammate thrive in PSG and Paris and the alleged interest from Juventus is most likely just that his agent, Mino Raiola is trying to get a better contract for Maxwell at PSG.

Alex

Turkish Fenerbahce have shown interest in Alex, but Alex is expected to remain at the club next year. There have not been any further rumors in regards to Alex.

Thiago Silva

The team’s defense star was forced to say no to Barcelona last summer because he “already given PSG’s words,” but if Barcelona would make a new bid in the summer Silva find it difficult to say no again. Even Milan, as well as other major European clubs, follows Silva carefully.

Christophe Jallet

The PSG captain has spent parts of the season on the bench as new signing Gregory van der Wiel has taken his place. This makes it likely for Jallet to leave PSG in the summer. However no club has so far expressed a big interest in signing Christophe Jallet.

Marco Verratti

The team’s playmaker has previously said that he sees himself in Serie A in the future, but said as recently as last week that he himself wants to stay at PSG. Juventus and Milan have been linked with the young Italian, but will not be able to match an offer from Real Madrid, or a new improved contract from PSG, in economic terms.

Jose Mourinho not to coach Zlatan

Rumors say that Carlo Ancelotti is moving away from PSG, and on the way to Madrid. According to Italian Sky Jose Mourinho has said no to replacing Carlo Ancelotti in Paris. PSG will also not let Ancelotti go when they do not have a replacement.

Many are said to be moving away from PSG and the transfer window has not even started. Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has previously warned that Zlatan might change club if, for example, coach Carlo Ancelotti leaves.

According to the rumors it is said that Ancelotti has decided to leave PSG and that he has been in contact with Real Madrid. This due to that Real Madrid are almost certain that Jose Mourinho will leave by the end of this season. PSG on the other hand wants to hire Mourinho but now apparently Jose Mourinho has turned down the offer from Paris Saint-Germain. The choice for Mourinho instead seems to be Chelsea.

Instead the focus of PSG is shifting towards Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Possible Signings for PSG this summer

In the last few weeks there have been a lot of rumors on possible signings for PSG this summer. Here is a summary of who might join Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Edinson Cavani, Napoli

Mentioned recently in media to be ready for PSG next season, something sporting director Leonardo denies. In Italian newspapers people are talking about a change between the clubs where Cavani goes in one direction and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the other, but a change directly between the clubs is something that might be hard to do.

Edinson Cavani

Edinson Cavani

Radamel Falcao, Atletico Madrid

Mentioned as a possible replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer, but Falcao is able to pick and choose between the big European clubs and any direct contact with PSG has not been established yet. If Falcao would choose PSG over other European clubs it would be a big surprise.

Radamel Falcao

Radamel Falcao

Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid

Signing Cristiano Ronaldo would be a dream for the Paris Saint-Germain, which came to life after Ronaldo himself last winter, did not rule out that he would play in PSG next season. But that Ronaldo would like to replace the mighty Bernabeu stadium in Madrid against unglamorous away games against Rennes does not seem very likely. A signing of Cristiano Ronaldo would however put the French league in a totally different position and it would attract a lot of new fans. Signing Cristiano Ronaldo would also open up for a lot of other possible signings for PSG.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo

Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid

Will most likely not remain in the Madrid after the summer and is the most likely candidate if PSG would be looking for an replacement for Carlo Ancelotti. But the question is whether or not the French Ligue 1 is too anonymous for Jose Mourinho. Mourinho likes to stay in the spotlight and recent years only been training top clubs in Europe’s most prestigious leagues. The Qatari leadership has also made a point that they want peace and working atmosphere around their coach, something that was never likely to be the case in the club where Mourinho settles down. Signing Jose Mourinho would also be a big opener for additional possible signings for PSG.

Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho

Arsène Wenger, Arsenal

Has a contract with Arsenal that extends for another year, but Wenger was during the spring mentioned as a possible replacement for Ancelotti. The fact that Wenger would be heading back to France after nearly twenty years in England may seem logical, but many people believe that Wenger is not a big enough name to succeed in attracting future big players to PSG.

Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger

Summary

The possible transfer targets for PSG are mainly high profile names and the rumors will continue to come in during the next few months. PSG has the money and the ambition to do something really big and that might attract some really big names like Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho. Another name that have also been mentioned is Wayne Rooney but right now we do not see that transfer as very likely. We will follow up with the latest transfer rumors as they unfold and give you all the possible signings for PSG this summer as they pop up.

PSG vs Evian 1-0

Marseille’s victory with 1-0 in Saturday’s match against Lorient made it impossible for PSG to secure the league title on Sunday. Carlos Ancelotti’s men, however, had more reasons to win than the hunt for three points. Evian threw PSG out of the French Cup recently.

PSG won the game against Evian with 1-0 after goal from Javier Pastore – but the odd goal win was not without controversy.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic had several good chances to score, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic stays at 27 league goals despite a giant chance two meters from the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball tumbled down in front of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s feet. But although the keeper was down on his knees Zlatan Ibrahimovic put the ball over the bar.

PSG vs Evian 1-0

PSG failed to get a second goal. Instead it was nerve in the final minutes. Marco Verratti was sent off with ten minutes left and got a good scolding by Carlo Ancelotti. In stoppage time came the next penalty for the visitors. David Beckham got the red card. Beckham stomped firmly in the grass when he would cover the ball, but was not close to hitting his opponent. The referee made a bad call and gave David Beckham the red card.

PSG held off, but even after the final whistle, there was scrimmage between many players. PSG’s goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu and Evian sSaber Khlifa got red cards after the scuffle.

With four rounds remaining Paris Saint-Germain leads the league nine points ahead of Marseille. It looks like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and PSG will bring the gold to Paris this year after the PSG vs Evian 1-0 game.
